Agartala, Tripura, 10th of October, 2025 : On specific information of the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) secret operation was launched in Agartala Railway Station on Friday (10th October, 2025). According to the sources, RPF & GRP, apprehended one (1) Bangladeshi Nationals And 1 Indians from Agartala Railway Station.
According to sources, GRP & RPF of Agartala, at about 8.30 A.M on the basis of secret information managed to caught one Bangladeshi and one Indian Border tout namely (1) Deepu Ghosh (25) S/O- Sri Dulal Ghosh of Sukanta Nagar, PS-Gangarampur, Dist.- Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal (2) Smt. Asha Das (18) D/O- Tirtha Das of Kaunia, PS-Kaunia, Dist-Rangpur, Country-Bangladesh. During their interrogation they stated that the Bangladeshi woman entered into India through Sepahijala District Border. Accordingly GRP & RPF arrested them from Agartala Railway station near main gate. A specific case vide Agartala GRPS case no-2025GRP097, U/S-61(2)/249(b)/143(2) BNS, 2023 & U/S- 14(A)(b)/ 14(C) of the Foreigner Act-1946 & U/S- 03 of IPP Act ( Entry into India Amendment-2000) has registered against them.
