Agartala, Tripura, 7th of November, 2025 : The newly appointed Group Commander of Silchar Group , NER NCC, visited 13 Tripura Battalion NCC, Agartala on 6th November 2025 for the first time.
The visit commenced with an impressive Guard of Honour presented by the cadets of the 13 Tripura battalion NCC. This was followed by a presentation by Commanding Officer, 13 Tripura Battalion NCC, highlighting the unit’s organization, achievements, training activities, and future plans.
The Group Commander then visited the office area, where he reviewed the functioning and administrative arrangements of the battalion.
A brass band performance by the cadets of St. Xavier’s School was also organized to commemorate the National Song Vandemataram during the occasion. The band also performed a series of tunes and formations, including Entry March, Vijay Bharat, Quick March, Kadam Kadam, Vande Mataram, Hanste Luchai, Slow March, Hindustani, Four-Line Formation, and Drum Solo. The performance added grandeur and enthusiasm to the event.
The Gp Commander appreciated the brass band cadets for their outstanding performance, as well as the cadets who have shown excellence in various NCC activities. He encouraged all cadets to uphold the highest standards of discipline, leadership, and service to the nation.
The visit concluded with a group photograph of the Group Commander with officers, staff, and cadets of The 13 Tripura NCC Battalion.
