Agartala, Tripura, 9th of November, 2025 : On specific information of the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) secret operation was launched in Agartala Railway Station on Sunday (9th November, 2025).

According to the sources, RPF & GRP, arrested one (1) Bangladeshi Nationals and one (1) Indian touts from Agartala Railway Station.
According to sources, GRP & RPF of Agartala at about 3.30 pm on the basis of secret information caught one Bangladesi namely Mohammad Selim (37), S/O-Abul Kalam of Modhyam Rangamatia, PO-Battala, PS-Porsuram, Dist- Feni, Bangladesh and one Indian tout namely Mohammad Ripon Ali Laskar(26) S/O- Mantu Ali Laskar of Bazemara, P.O.- Katlicherra, District- Hailakandi, State-Assam.
During their interrogation they stated that they were entered into India through South District Border. Railway Police arrested them from Agartala Railway station near main gate.
A specific case vide Agartala GRPS case no-2025GRP108, U/S-61(2)/249(b)/143(2) BNS, 2023 & U/S- 14(A)(b)/ 14(C) of the Foreigner Act-1946 & U/S- 03 of IPP Act (Entry into India Amendment-2000) has registered against them.
