Ampi, Tripura, 26th of November 2025 : With the initiative of Amarpur divisional GMP committee a one day divisional conference has been conducted here in Ampinagar community hall in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of communist activists and leaders of the state have assembled here in the programme venue and took participation in the conference. In presence of many dignitaries the GMP central committee president Naresh Jamatia has inaugurated the conference. As per the report, targeting to fortify the Amarpur divisional GMP organization more stronger this conference has many discussions over multiple issues of the organization. Through this conference Amarpur GMP new committee has been formed today.
Sources said, consisting 47 members a new Amarpur divisional GMP committee has been formed where Ranajoy Reang has been chosen as president and Daniel Jamatia is secretary. Four persons were accepted in the committee as vice president and more four persons were included as assistant secretary in this Amarpur divisional GMP committee. Amidst the other distinguished participants there were Jitendra Choudhury, (politburo member) opposition leader, Umakanta Kalai, Amarpur divisional GMP committee member, Maniram Kalai, divisional GMP committee member and many others remained present in the programme.
