Amarpur, Tripura, 2nd of December 2025 : Targeting to enhance river fish availability for the poor villagers Ampi nagar 23 constituency MDC Sadagar Kalai has released a large quantity of different kinds of fingerlings here in Songang river in Ampi nagar block in Gomati Tripura. On this occasion many TMP social activists have assembled in the fingerlings released venues and released various sized of different species of fingerlings to the river.
As per the report, to promote fish availability in this Songang river about 100000 fingerlings have been sanctioned by the administrative of TTAADC. Fingerlings have been released in Tuidu, Jhantranaghat and Marua village in Nagrai. Aiming to fingerlings safety and protection MDC Sadagar Kalai has provided tips to the local villagers not to catch these fingerlings upto six months for their proper growth and as well as he has advised them not to hunt fish with battery in the river. General public have appreciated this philanthropic initiative and thanked the MDC for his generous public beneficial contribution.
