Agartala, Tripura, 2nd of December, 2025 : Assam Statehood Day was celebrated at Lok Bhavan, Agartala, Tripura on Tuesday (2nd December, 2025). The programme was organized under the spirit of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative.
In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.
Addressing at the celebration ceremony of Assam Statehood Day Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu said that the state of Assam has a glorious history and heritage. This day is meant to remember the visionary leader of Assam, Chaolung Sukapha. The Governor extended greetings and congratulations to the Assam government and the people of Assam. He said that the people of Assam will also come forward in building ‘One India, Great India’.
The invited guests from Assam welcomed and honored to the Governor. Dr. Rabindra Bharali, delivered speeches at the program. The speakers discussed the heritage and history of Assam.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Dr. Sindhu Paudwal, Dr. Mousumi Kalita, and many other dignitaries were present in the celebration ceremony.
