Agartala,Tripura, 3rd of December, 2025 : TGB RSETI, Bishramganj, Sepahijala District — supported by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, and promoted by Tripura Gramin Bank — has successfully completed the 31-day training programme on “Elective 1: Tailor Women’s Garments” from 3rd November, 2025 to 3rd December, 2025.

This training aimed to enhance the tailoring skills of rural women, helping them gain the confidence and knowledge required to become self-reliant and financially independent. Throughout the programme, participants received hands-on training, practical demonstrations, and continuous guidance from experienced trainers.
Trainees learned: Cutting & stitching of women’s garments, Measurement techniques & pattern making, Operation & maintenance of sewing machines, Fabric selection, finishing & fitting, Cost calculation, pricing & small business management, Entrepreneurship development for starting tailoring units.

The participants expressed high enthusiasm and showed remarkable improvement in their skills, preparing them for income generation through self-employment, home-based tailoring units, or small-scale garment enterprises.
