Sonamura, 4th of December, 2025 : Sonamura Police, in joint operations with 81th BN BSF, secret operation was launched in at Sonamura on Thursday (4th December, 2025) . Sonamura Police, arrested one woman and seized a total of 03 gram Heroin and total 185 gram Yaba tablet.
According to Police, based on a secret operation, one (1) drug paddler arrested with total 03 gram Heroin and total 185 gram Yaba tablet’s from her dwelling house which situated at Dhanirampur, ward No-05 under Sonamura PS.
Interacted with the media, Inspector Tapas Das, Officer in Charge Sonamura Police Station said that, a case was registered against Rina Rani Debbarma (47) of Dhanirampur, Ward No-03, Sonamura, Sepahijala, Tripura in Sonamura police station under the NDPS section. And Sonamura police station has started an investigation as to who could be the owner of these illegal contrabands. Many more people from that area may be arrested in this case.
