Agartala, Tripura, 8th of December, 2025 : The 14th Buddha Gupta Memorial Media Cricket Tournament 2025 will be held on 20 December at the MBB College ground. In this regard, the members of the organization held a press conference on Monday (8th December, 2025).
Managing Director of Syandan Patrika Abhishek Dey, Sports Journalist of Syandan Patrika Saraju Charkaborty and Photo Journalist of Syandan Patrika Subrata Debnath were present at the press conference.
The 14th Buddha Gupta Memorial Media Cricket Tournament 2025 will be held on 20 December at the MBB College ground. With this goal, this time the teams and the players will undergo registration and auction in a semi-professional manner. Each team will have a limited number of cricketers. The tournament will be played over six days. All matches will have four-over innings. The matches will be conducted in a knockout format.
14th Buddha Gupta Memorial Media Cricket Tournament 2025 :
Team registration: by 12 December. Entry fee: ₹500 (the entire entry fee amount will be added to the prize money).
Cricketer registration by 12 December.
Registration must be done in the prescribed form. A Passport-size photo, a copy of the Aadhaar card, and a copy of the media house or ICA ID card are mandatory.
On 15 December, the list of registered teams and registered cricketers will be published.”
On 16 December, a meeting will be held with representatives of the registered teams and the cricketers. Venue: Agartala Press Club.
