Amarpur, Tripura, 1st of January 2026 : The TRPCL chairperson PK Jamatia alongwith her husband B.P Meena (deputy director, MSME, Agartala has paid a courtesy visit to His Highness Shri. Indrasene Reddy Nallu in Raj Bhavan, Agartala today. On the occasion of new year 2026 AD she has wished the governor ‘Happy New Year’ and exchanged views over many current essential issues of the state.
As per the statement of the TRPC chairperson, “We had a fruitful discussion over TRPC Ltd crisis & development initiatives and addressed the issues of racism faced by Northeast indigenous people. To maintain suitable fraternity and harmony amidst all communities of the country anti-racism law implementation is essential across the subcontinent.” The TRPC chairperson has drawn the attention of the governor over the current state issues like demand for Roman Scripts and TRPCL pending project which are mostly required for the development enhancement of the state. The meeting concluded with an exchange of warm wishes and regards on the occasion of the New Year 2026, strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation.
