Mumbai, Maharashtra, 7th of January, 2026 : Taking forward the legacy of Vibrant Gujarat, Marwadi University is set to host the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC), organised by the Government of Gujarat, from 11 to 12 January 2026. With the objective of giving not only Saurashtra but the entire state of Gujarat a strong global identity in the field of education, the University has submitted a proposal to the Gujarat Government’s Education Department for an MoU involving an investment of ₹1,000 crore.

Under the proposed investment, state-of-the-art academic infrastructure will be developed, including new academic blocks with advanced laboratories, modern sports facilities, and next-generation hostels. In addition, a 10,000 sq. ft. dedicated centre for innovation and start-ups will be established, along with a separate academic block focused on continuing education for working professionals and entrepreneurs.
Reflecting the theme of “Vocal for Local,” the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference will be organised across four zones of Gujarat — North Gujarat, Saurashtra–Kutch, South Gujarat, and Central Gujarat. The conference will witness global participation from countries such as Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and the Netherlands, along with the presence of renowned international organisations including JETRO, ICBC, USISPF, the World Bank, and the Russian Federation.
Speaking about hosting the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference, Dhruv Marwadi, Trustee, Marwadi University, said, “It is a matter of pride for us to host the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for the Kutch–Saurashtra region. During the two-day regional conference, a wide range of activities will be organised, including seminars, exhibitions, MoU signings, B2B and B2G meetings, buyer–seller meets, and vendor development programmes. The agenda will cover key focus areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing, Sustainability, Circular Economy, Auto and Precision Engineering, among others. Inspired by the legacy of 10 successful editions of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, this regional conference aims to further establish Gujarat as a global investment hub and provide fresh momentum to the state’s overall economic development.
