Ampi, Tripura, 22nd of January 2026 : Embarking on a series of community upliftment endeavours, 124 CRPF organised distribution of Stationery items today at Kaluadepha S.B. School, Banduar, Gomati district. It may be mentioned here that the Unit has already carried out Civic Action Programs at SSB Para, Baikhora and Lankamura, Agartala on similar veins during the past fortnight. Sh Ravish Kumar, Commandant inaugurated the program and the event was graced by Sh Desai Rushikesh Jaysingh, IPS, Addl SP, Gomati, Smt. Anita Sutradhar, Pradhan, Purba Kunjaban, Sh Ratan Dhar, Headmaster, Kaluadelpha SB School, concerned school authorities, civil police counterparts and officers from the Unit.

During this community outreach, the targeted beneficiaries are three schools located in the operational area of B/124 CRPF viz Gamaria H/S School, Mahrani, Kaluadepha SB School, Banduar and Tripura Sundari H/S School, Udaipur. Whereas 40 beneficiaries are from Kaluadepha SB School, 30 beneficiaries each are from Gamaria H/S School and Tripura Sundari H/S School. Vehicle for conveyance of the students from their respective school was provided alongwith refreshment like snack, sweets and chocolate.

Each of the 100 beneficiaries was given a package consisting of six notebooks, five pens, one pencil pack, an eraser and a sharpener. Moreover, sports items comprising of football, volleyball with net was also distributed to Gamaria H/S School and Tripura Sundari H/S School. While speaking to the school authority and students, Sh Ravish Kumar, CO expressed that in spite of limited resources, activities like this demonstrates his Organization’s commitment towards stronger community ties, local collaboration and helping needy students in their march for holistic education. An enthralling extra-curricular program was organized by the students showcasing the rich culture and tradition of the state as well. The event provided space to talented students to display their dexterity and grasp of art. The program was a huge success and will go a long way in fostering collaboration and image of the force.
