Dharmanagar, Tripura, 24th of January, 2026 : The Purva Chhatra Parishad of Tripureshwari Shishu Mandir, Dharmanagar, observed its annual Purva Chhatra Diwas (Alumni Day) today at the DM Office in Dharmanagar. The event saw a gathering of 50 enthusiastic alumni, reflecting the strong bond fostered by the institution.

The program was graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Abhijit Chanda, Associate Professor, Institute of Advanced Studies in Education, Agartala, who served as the Chief Guest. Shri Nilmoni Chakraborty, State Co-ordinator, Vidya Bharati Tripura, attended as a Special Guest. The event was presided over by Shri Paritosh Nag, President of the school’s School Management Committee (SMC).

During his address, Shri Nilmoni Chakraborty inspired the alumni, emphasizing the importance of engaging in social work and contributing positively to the community. Alumni are one of the stakeholders of Vidya Bharati mission. The gathering provided a platform for former students to reconnect, share experiences, and reinforce their commitment to the values instilled by their alma mater.
The commemorative program concluded with the rendition of the Vande Mataram song, leaving the attendees with a sense of patriotism and shared purpose.
