Dharmanagar Tripura, 25th of January, 2026 : The Sub-Divisional Administration, Dharmanagar, observed the 16th National Voters’ Day with due solemnity and enthusiasm, aiming to strengthen democratic participation and voter awareness. The programme was attended by the District Magistrate, North Tripura; Superintendent of Police, North Tripura; Divisional Forest Officer, North Tripura; Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Dharmanagar; Additional SDM, Dharmanagar; Senior Deputy Collector from the DM’s Office, and the Principal of BBI school, among others.

The observance began with a ceremonial lamp-lighting, followed by deliberations highlighting the importance of ethical voting and inclusive electoral participation. As part of the celebrations, a sub-division level Cycle Rally was organised to spread awareness on voter registration and the significance of informed voting.Officials urged citizens, especially first-time voters, to actively participate in the democratic process and uphold constitutional values. The programme concluded with a renewed pledge towards free, fair, and participatory elections.
