Dharmanagar, Tripura, 26th of January, 2026 : In line with celebrations across the country, the 77th Republic Day of India was observed with due respect and solemnity at the CPI(M) Dharmanagar Sub- Divisional Office in North Tripura district on Monday.The programme was held in front of the party office during the morning hours.

The observance began with the hoisting of the National Flag followed by the rendition of the National Anthem by all present. The National Flag was unfurled by CPI(M) State Committee member Amitabh Datta, while the party flag was hoisted by North Tripura District Secretary Abhijit Dey. After the flag hoisting, leaders and party workers collectively paid tribute to the ideals of the Indian Constitution, reaffirming their commitment to democracy, secularism, and social justice. Speaking on the occasion, senior leaders highlighted the significance of Republic Day and recalled the sacrifices made by freedom fighters in building a sovereign and democratic India.
Amidst the other distinguished participants there were CPI(M) Dharmanagar Sub-Divisional Secretary Ratan Roy, Sub- Divisional Committee member Shashank Majumder, along with other party leaders, members, and supporters. It was also informed that similar Republic Day programmes were organised across all areas under the Dharmanagar Sub-division, including local party offices, ensuring widespread participation and observance of the national occasion.The event concluded in a peaceful and disciplined manner, reflecting the spirit of unity and respect for the Constitution of India.
