During the patrolling Period of Amarpur forest officials in Tingharia village under Ampinagar PS recovered two Walkie talkies from deep jungle today. It is expected that sensing the presence of the forest officials the timber smugglers have escaped from the location leaving these Walkie talkies in the spot. They could not find any timber smugglers there but it has been supposed that the timber smugglers have been using these Walkie talkies for their smuggling activities. The forest officials said that these Walkie talkies are valuable and these were usable for special operations.
