Amarpur, 13th of August 2024 : With the initiative of Ampi Agri. Subdivision a saplings distribution programme has been conducted here in Taicholong VC under Ampinagar block in Gomati Tripura today. As per the report, the concerned authority has provided mango, areca nut and lemon saplings to 100 beneficiaries under MMV in Taicholong VC. Under the scheme of Horti State Plan the department has distributed 15 saplings to each beneficiary where areca nut, lemon and mango saplings exist. Addressing the programme participants Ampinagar block MLA Pathanlal Jamatia has motivated indigenous beneficiaries over horti culture and explained its immense importance. He has provided them genuine tips over the technique of fruits saplings plantation and created awareness amidst them how to care and protect saplings until they began mature to bear fruits.
Amongst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Debashish Sarkar, assistant director, horti culture, Ampi BAC chairman Sindhu Chandra Jamatia, Ampi Agri. Subdivision SA Nibash Debbarma and many others remained present in the programme.
