Agartala, Tripura, 19th of August, 2025 : With the initiative of Tripura Photo Journalists Association organized Annual Photo Exhibition to marks on World Photography Day 2025 at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Agartala, Tripura on Tuesday (19th August, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport and Tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.
There will be a three-day art exhibition from August 19 to August 21, 2025, at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan premises, Agartala. The exhibition will be open to the public from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm every day.
General secretary of the Tripura Photo Journalists Association delivered a welcome address at the inaugural session of the event. The guests all praised the glorious history of the state’s photojournalists not only within the state but also in the national and international arena. The organization has expressed its gratitude to everyone for making this art exhibition a success. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by President Praloy Jit Pal.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Additional Director General of State Police Krishnendu Chakraborty, Director of Information & Cultural Affairs Department Bimbisar Bhattacharjee, Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder, President of Agartala Press Club Pranab Sarkar, Tripura State Cultural Advisory Committee Vice Chairman Subrata Chakraborty, and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the inauguration ceremony today.
