
World Malaria Day, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Government of India organized the Asia Pacific Leaders’ Conclave on Malaria Elimination in New Delhi on Monday (24th April, 2023), in partnership with the Asia Pacific Leaders Malaria Alliance (APLMA). The Conclave held under the guidance of Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon’ble Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers. The Conclave aims to reaffirm political commitment to galvanize action for malaria elimination by 2030.
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tripura Dr. Manik Saha attended the Conclave. Other Ministers of Health and Family Welfare of States, Senior representatives from various Government departments, development partners, corporates and many other dignitaries remained participated in the conclave.
“Addressed the Asia Pacific Leader’s Conclave on Malaria Elimination at New Delhi. In meeting, I committed for the intensified effort through which we can achieve Malaria elimination in line with the national timeline of Malaria Elimination by 2030 by achieving a target of zero indigenous malaria cases in #Tripura”, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha tweeted.
