Guwahati, 12th of March 2024 : Assam Rifles is organizing Nine day National Integration Tour to Shillong, Guwahati and Tezpur for the 18 boys and 10 girls of remote schools in Cachar, Tamenglong and Noney districts of Assam and Manipur from 12-20 March under project Operation Sadbhavna.
The tour was flagged off from Assam Rifles Headquarters at Srikona, Silchar on 12 March 2024. During the nine days tour, students will be visiting various places of cultural and scientific importance at Shillong, Guwahati and Tezpur.
Aimed at broadening the horizons of children in remote areas and also aiding them in gaining knowledge about the different cultures and scientific developments of our great nation, the tour would also endeavour to boost patriotism and in still national pride among the students.
