Dharmanagar, Tripura, 4th of April, 2026 : Ahead of the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized an election rally at Kachkao Para, which witnessed a significant public response in the area.

The meeting was attended by BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee as the chief guest. Other prominent attendees included North Tripura district president Kajal Das, BJP candidate from 1 No. Damchhara–Jampui constituency Rabindra Reang, Tripura MLA Binoy Bhushan Das, and constituency in-charge Tamjit Nath, along with other party leaders.

During the rally, speakers highlighted the developmental work carried out by the BJP and sought support from people across all sections of society in the upcoming elections. They emphasized that the BJP government is committed to the overall development of tribal areas and urged voters to ensure the victory of party candidates to continue this progress. A key highlight of the rally was a major joining event. Around 541 voters from approximately 230 families joined the BJP, leaving Tipra Motha and other parties. Party leaders welcomed the new members by handing them party flags. This mass joining has generated considerable enthusiasm within the BJP camp, and according to party leadership, it is expected to have a positive impact on the party’s prospects in the upcoming elections.
