Blood Donation Camp Organized By Tripura Medical College.

With the initiative of Tripura Medical College organized Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Lecture Hall of Forensic Medicine, Hapania, Agartala on Thursday (13th April, 2023).

“Voluntary blood donation is a special aspect of human religion. Everyone in the society should follow this human religion. Only then will it be possible to build a beautiful and developed society”, said Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha at Voluntary blood donation camp. The Chief Minister said that there is no greater donation than blood donation. Voluntary blood donation is above all donations to society. During the Assembly elections, there was a shortage of blood in the state’s public and private blood banks. After the elections, the State Government called upon everyone, including various Government and private organizations, to organize blood donation camps. Everyone is organizing blood donation camps in response to this call of the State Government.

The Chief Minister also added that due to the development of communication system in the state, Tripura will become the gateway to Southeast Asia in the near future. As a result, the overall face of Tripura will change, the Chief Minister expressed his opinion. The Chief Minister said that the government is also sincere in solving the various problems of Tripura Medical College. Discussions have also been held with the central government for the development of this college.

Society for Tripura Medical College Chairman Dr. Pramthesh Roy, Principal Professor Dr. Arindam Dutta and Chief Executive Officer Swapan Saha also spoke on the occasion. Tripura Medical College Medical Super Professor Dr. Jayanta Kumar Poddar, and other dignitaries were present in the blood donation programme.
