Agartala, Tripura, 19th of October, 2024 : On 19th October 2024, on specific information of BSF, 03 Bangladeshi national were apprehended in the area of Border Out-Post Mohanpur under West Tripura District by BSF Quick Reaction Team , while they were trying to infiltrate into Indian territory . The apprehended persons are residents of the Dhaka & Chapainawabganj District of Bangladesh.
In addition BSF troops independently or in joint operations seized contrabands worth Rs. 67,57,400/.
BSF has stepped up domination and operation along the border in Tripura to prevent infiltration and trans-border crime.
