Agartala, Tripura, 16th of August, 2024 : On the occasion of 78th Independence day of India, Sh Patel Piyush Purusottam Das, IPS, IG BSF FTR HQ Tripura hoisted the national flag at Frontier HQ BSF Tripura and greeted all the border men and their family members. It was followed by a wreath-laying ceremony in which tribute was paid to the supreme sacrifice of BSF martyrs in the service of the nation.
Several events like Cycle, Motor Cycle rally, tree plantation ,band display, cultural programme and Tiranga Yatra with civil society were also organized in celebration of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” by BSF in different part of the state .
