Agartala, Tripura, 21st of September 2025 : On 20 Sept 2025 at about 2315 hrs on specific information of BSF, a joint operation was planned and carried out by BSF troops of Border outpost N C Nagar under SHQ Gokulnagar along with Customs Preventive Force Sonamura resulting in seizure of 12 numbers of Gold biscuits, weighing appx 1.39 KG and having market value of Rs 1.59 Cr appx. The seized gold biscuits were recovered from house of an Indian villager of N C Nagar under PS Sonamura, District Sepahijala.
The seizure highlights good synergy between BSF and sister law enforcement agencies to effectively prevent trans border smuggling activities.
