Agartala, Tripura, 20th of September, 2024 : On 20.09.2024 at about 1030hrs , BGB handed over Indian national Challa Fru Mog to BSF in the presence of Immigration and police officials of India and Bangladesh.

On 19.09.24 at about 1030 hrs Mrs Swapna Mog w/o Challa Fru Mog resident of Mogpara, Radhanagar under PS P R Bari of South Tripura district visited Border out post Belonia and approached BSF Coy Commander regarding abduction of her husband in Bangladesh.
Responding with alacrity to the grievance of Mrs Swapna Mog, BSF approached BGB at the appropriate level. BSF and BGB acted in tandem displaying synergy which ensured the safe and timely return of Challa Fru Mog .
The prompt and effective action by BSF has been widely appreciated by border population. BSF is steadfast in its commitment to safeguard the interests of the border population.
