Agartala, Tripura, 12th of February 2025 : Adopting Non Lethal strategy BSF troops under Tripura Frontier successfully foiled several attempts of infiltration and smuggling.
In significant joint operations with PS Srinagar under South Tripura district, BSF troops seized sun glasses , Burmese cigarette worth ₹ 1.8 crore .
In other operations along the Indo Bangladesh border Cannabis , codine based syrups and other contrabands also seized.
Border Security Force remains committed to maintain vigil along the border and to prevent illegal activities along the Indo-Bangladesh border.
