Agartala, Tripura, 21st of October, 2024 : On 21st October 2024, the BSF Tripura Frontier observed Police Commemoration Day. Sh. S. K. Sinha, DIG, BSF Tripura Frontier, along with all ranks, paid heartfelt tributes to the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
During the ceremony, the DIG laid a wreath in honor of the police personnel who lost their lives while serving the nation. Addressing the gathering, he read out the names of the martyrs, emphasizing the profound bravery and dedication they exhibited.
Every year, this day serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifice made by 10 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who lost their lives while valiantly defending against Chinese aggression on October 21, 1959, at Hot Spring, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir.
The observance of this day not only honors their memory but also reinforces our commitment to uphold the values they stood for.
