BSF’s Seema Bhawani Motor Cycle Team Will Participate And Perform At Rajpath.

In the year 2016, BSF was assigned with the responsibility to raise all women motorcycle  daredevil team of the force. The challenge was accepted and willing & capable Mahila Prahari of the force were called for practice and selection for the mahila motorcycle team. On 20^th Oct’2016 the mahila motorcycle team was raised. Initially the team was named as “Nirbhaya” which was later renamed as “Seema Bhawani”. The team is now well known all around the country due to their magnificent and daring performance on the occasion of Republic Day Parade  – 2018 at Rajpath, New Delhi which was praised by one and all and also  by the then Chief Guest of Republic Day Parade  – Mr Barack Obama, President of the United States of  America.

                The team has gathered lime light in a very short duration and is expected to bring more such laurels to the force.  During this year (2022) Republic Day Parade, with the direction of Ministry of Home Affairs (Police-II Division), BSF Seema Bhawani Motor Cycle Team  will again participate and perform various events on motor cycle at Rajpath.
