Dharmanagar, Tripura, 28th of March 2026 : Political temperatures are steadily rising in Dharmanagar ahead of the upcoming Assembly by-election. Campaigning by various political parties has reached a peak, and in this charged atmosphere, a massive rally and public outreach programme was organized on Saturday in support of Congress candidate Chayan Bhattacharya.The programme was led by senior Pradesh Congress leader Sudip Roy Barman. His presence turned the rally into a significant show of strength. The procession passed through several key roads in the town, with participation from party leaders, workers, and a large number of supporters.

During the rally, Sudip Roy Barman and Chayan Bhattacharya directly interacted with local residents. They visited households, listened to people’s concerns, and appealed to voters to support the Congress candidate. Addressing a brief gathering, Sudip Roy Barman strongly criticized the current state government and urged voters to elect the Congress candidate for the overall development of Dharmanagar.

Meanwhile, candidate Chayan Bhattacharya said, “The support and love of the people are our greatest strength.
