Amarpur, Tripura, 19th of March 2026 : The CATC-177 Adventure Camp, conducted by the 13 Tripura Battalion from 10th March has been accomplished successfully today. This NCC cadet adventure camp was not only a well- organized programme but also one of the most memorable and enriching experiences of event of the cadet participants. From the very beginning at Tirthamukh in Gomati district of Tripura, every moment of the camp was filled with excitement, learning, and personal growth.

Participating in activities such as fishing, rock climbing, and trekking through the Kalajhari Hills was truly exhilarating, and it was an entirely new experience for the cadets. One the cadet participant said, “I had never engaged in such adventurous activities before, and the thrill as well as joy I felt while overcoming challenges are beyond expression. The visit to the beautiful Tirthamukh Waterfall and the scenic Dumbur Dam, along with the unforgettable jet ski ride in Dumbur Lake, made the experience even more special enjoyable and memorable. After spending five wonderful days at Tirthamukh, we have moved to Chabimura, where the adventure continued with activities like artificial rock climbing, zip-lining, canoeing, boating, raffling and archery. Each activity brought a new sense of excitement and achievement. The boat rides through serene waters, surrounded by breathtaking waterfalls and lush greenery, created moments that I will cherish forever.

Despite the presence of difficult terrains and risky paths, the NAMF(Nirmahal Adventure and Mountainering Foundation) team ensured our safety at every step, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience without fear. I am truly grateful to the 13 Tripura Battalion and the NAMF team for organizing such motivational and incredible camp. This experience not only introduced me to new adventures but also boosted my confidence and courage. I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to participate in such camps, as they offer a unique opportunity to explore, learn, and create unforgettable memories.
