Celebration Of 64th Teachers’ Day At Jirania.

Agartala, Tripura, 6th of September 2025 : With the initiative of Jirania School Education department Government of Tripura 64th Teachers’ Day celebration has been conducted at Gurukul Community. Hall, Mohanpur, Jirania, Agartala, Tripura on Saturday (6th September, 2025). In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs minister Sushanta Chowdhury inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

On this auspicious occasion a large number of school teachers, students, dignitaries have assembled in the programme venue and observed the 64th birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan with due respect and dignity. Artists performed their traditional cultural programs likes dance, song etc. to beautify the ceremony. Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and present guests paid floral tributes to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s birth Anniversary.

Addressing at the ceremony of 64th Teachers’ Day  Hon’ble food, civil supplies & consumer affairs minister Sushanta chowdhury said that Teachers’ determine the future of students through proper knowledge and character formation. He said that teachers not only teach students, but also play an important role as the main leaders in shaping their lives. He said, real education makes people humble. Calling on teachers to develop a competitive mindset among students, he said, if a competitive mindset is developed, they will be able to pass various vocational exams with honor in the future. He called on teachers to play an important role in keeping students away from drug addiction. It is possible to reach the peak of success only if there is a healthy body and mind. The Tourism Minister also added that the current Government of the State is working tirelessly to improve the quality of education. Schools are being modernized.

Pankaj Dalal, School Inspector of Jirania a welcome address at the inaugural session of the event today. 10 teachers were felicitated at the event. Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were, SDM of Jirania Animesh Dhar, Chairman of the Panchayat Samiti Pritam Debnath, BDO of Jirania Tushar Alam, prominent teacher Purna Chandra Sarkar, social activist Ranjit Roy Chowdhury, and many other dignitaries were present at the event.
