Central Government Institutes In Nagpur And Amaravati Celebrate Republic Day With Enthusiasm.

New Delhi, Delhi, 26th of January, 2026 : The nation celebrated its 77th Republic Day with great pride and enthusiasm. Central Government institutes situated in Nagpur and Amaravati also marked the occasion with deep respect and patriotic fervour. The celebrations marked flag hoisting by the Head of the Organization, followed by vibrant patriotic songs and cultural dance performances. The programme truly reflected the spirit of the occasion and made the 77th Republic Day a memorable experience for students, parents, and staff members alike. Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur

Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director, IIM Nagpur, hoisted the National Flag at the Indian Institute of Management, Nagpur campus on Monday, marking the Institute’s 77th Republic Day celebrations. The celebrations began with the flag-hoisting ceremony and a security march-past, followed by the National Anthem. A vibrant cultural programme was organised thereafter, showcasing the creativity and patriotic spirit of the campus community. Students, staff, and faculty members attended the event in large numbers.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS),  Nagpur

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur observed the 77th Republic Day with a solemn ceremony. The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of of the National Flag by Dr (Prof.) Prashant P. Joshi, Executive Director and CEO, AIIMS Nagpur, followed by a march-past parade by the institute’s security personnels, symbolizing discipline and solidarity.. The ceremony was attended by Heads of Departments, faculty members, students from the MBBS and Nursing Colleges, and the entire staff of AIIMS Nagpur.

The National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), Nagpur

The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm at the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), Nagpur. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Director General of Income Tax (Training), Dr. Sibichen K. Mathew who led the celebrations along with faculty members, staff, and officer trainees of the Academy. In addition, participants from 22 countries who are currently undergoing the Indian Technical and Ecomomic Cooperation (ITEC) training course also graced the occasion.

Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Amaravati

Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm today, at Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC)Amravati campus. During the program, students presented patriotic poems and shared their thoughts. On this occasion, students of Hindi, English, and Marathi journalism, along with teachers and staff members, were present.

Indian Bureau of Mines, (IBM) Nagpur:

On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day, the National Flag was hoisted at the headquarters of the Indian Bureau of Mines, Nagpur, by Shri Pankaj Kulshreshtha, Controller General.

On this occasion, a large number of officers and employees of the Indian Bureau of Mines were present. The program was conducted by Shri Vinay Kumar Saxena, Senior Library and Information Assistant.

Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) Nagpur

Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Western Coalfields Limited ( WCL) Nagpur today. At the ceremony held at the ground of the Indora campus of the company, the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of WCL, Shri Jai Prakash Dwivedi, hoisted the national flag, the Tricolour, and inspected the security parade. After addressing Team WCL, he felicitated outstanding security personnel.

CSIR – NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING RESEARCH INSTITUTE (NEERI) Nagpur

CSIR-NEERI celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm in the presence of Dr. Shekhar C. Mande, Former Director General, CSIR and President, INSA. Dr. S. Venkata Mohan, Director, CSIR-NEERI, hoisted the National Flag and highlighted the Institute’s recent progress, key R&D initiatives and future infrastructure plans. The celebrations concluded with a cultural programme and active staff participation.

Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRC–Nagpur)

The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at the Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRC–Nagpur), under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. The programme commenced with a ceremonial salute commanded by Mr. Venkatesh Belkhode, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by Shri Prafull Shinde, Director, CRC Nagpur. The National Anthem was sung collectively with Pushpaanjali. The celebration witnessed active participation from CRC Nagpur staff, PM Divyasha Kendra staff, CCCGP students, parents, caregivers, children, and members of the general public, reflecting unity and patriotic spirit.
