Agartala, Tripura, 8th of April, 2026 : The 13 Tripura Battalion NCC successfully commenced the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-33) on 08 April 2026, under the able leadership of the Camp Commandant, Col Navpreet Singh Baath.

The day began early with the arrival of cadets, followed by document verification and biometric registration, ensuring smooth induction and proper record maintenance. After completing initial formalities, cadets were provided breakfast and briefed about camp discipline and routine.
As part of the Service Shooting Programme, cadets participated in scheduled firing-related training activities, aimed at familiarizing them with weapon handling procedures and strengthening their practical skills.
The day primarily focused on administrative processing and camp establishment, enabling cadets to adjust effectively to the camp environment. A General Awareness session conducted by the Training JCO enhanced cadets’ knowledge on relevant topics.
In the later part of the day, cadets attended an informative lecture on Health & Hygiene, First Aid, and Camp Security, delivered by ANOs and camp staff, emphasizing safety, discipline, and personal well-being.
Addressing the cadets, the Camp Commandant, Col Navpreet Singh Baath, encouraged them to maintain discipline, enthusiasm, and a spirit of learning throughout the camp, highlighting the importance of both training and character development in NCC.
The day concluded with personal hygiene routines, roll call, and dinner, maintaining a structured and disciplined environment.
Overall, the first day of CATC-33 was conducted smoothly, with effective coordination of training and service shooting activities, setting a strong and disciplined tone for the days ahead
