Congress Holds Election Meeting In Dharmanagar, Calls For Strengthening The Organization.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 15th of March, 2026 : Ahead of the upcoming by-election for the 56-Dharmanagar Assembly Constituency, the Dharmanagar District Congress organized a political meeting in Dharmanagar on Sunday. The meeting was held at the base of the Netaji statue located at Kalidighi Par in Dharmanagar.

The meeting was attended by Ashish Kumar Saha, President of the Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee; mla sudiproy barman,Digbijay Chakraborty; Chayan Bhattacharya, member of the Pradesh Congress Committee; along with several district Congress leaders, party members, and supporters.Speakers at the meeting emphasized that ahead of the by-election, the organization must be further strengthened while giving priority to the problems and demands of the common people. Party workers were also urged to work unitedly and actively campaign in the field.

A large number of Congress workers and supporters from the area were seen attending the meeting. The leaders stated that everyone must work together to ensure a decisive victory for the Congress candidate in the upcoming by-election.
