Dharmanagar, Tripura, 15th of March, 2026 : On the occasion of the Dol Festival, a cultural programme was organized by the North Tripura District Committee of the All-India cultural organization Sanskar Bharati. The event, held in Dharmanagar on Saturday, created a vibrant confluence of colors, harmony, and culture while welcoming the arrival of the spring season.Present at the programme were Sanskar Bharati North District President Amlendu Choudhury, North District Secretary Partha Sharma, and Sanskar Bharati Tripura State Prant Mantri Sandeep Nath. They highlighted the cultural significance of the Dol festival and conveyed the message of harmony and unity in society.

Poets, writers, singers, and dancers from Dharmanagar and different parts of North Tripura participated in the event, presenting performances that reflected the joy of spring and the spirit of nature’s renewal. The artists captivated the audience through songs, dance, and recitations.The celebration, centered around Dol or Holi—the festival of colors, love, and harmony—symbolized new beginnings and carried a message of peace. The lively cultural performances made the programme a grand success.
