According to report, on the instructions of Rahul Gandhi, a delegation of the North East Youth Congress Committee visited the residence of Angel Chakma today.
According to sources, Angel Chakma, a 24‑year‑old MBA student from Tripura’s Unakoti district, who was died on 26th December, 2025, in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun after being hospitalised for over two weeks following a violently attacked on 9th December in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun.
During the visit, the President of the All India Youth Congress, Uday Bhanu Chib, spoke to him through a video call and wished Angel Chakma a speedy recovery.
A delegation from the North East Youth Congress Committee, including Youth Congress President Neel Kamal Saha and other leaders, was present.
