Agartala, Tripura, 8th of January, 2025 : Acting on specific intelligence, a special ambush was laid at Jogendranagar near Railway Station. On 8th January, 2025 after getting specific information East Agartala Police Station arrested six gambler along with cash and seized gambling equipment.
According to the information received, on the basis of the information East Agartala Police personnel arrested Six gambler under section 12TG Act from jogendranagar near rail station and seized gambling money Rs 8650/- , calculator, mobile, gambling amount calculation chart , tickets from their possession. Prosecution reporter u/s 12 TG Act are being submitted. A police team Under the supervision of the East Agartala Police Station OC Rana Chattarjee conducted the investigation.
