Agartala, Tripura, 29th of October 2025 : The eighth day of CATC-145 began with a refreshing and energetic PT session, where cadets participated enthusiastically, demonstrating excellent discipline, coordination, and team spirit. The morning routine helped boost their physical fitness and morale for the day’s activities.

After breakfast, cadets proceeded to the Firing Range for a live firing session using the .22 rifle. Under proper supervision and guidance of Firing JCO Subedar Puka Thapa, cadets practiced aiming, trigger control, and firing positions. The experience gave them a practical understanding of weapon handling and built confidence in real-time firing situations. Cadets displayed great excitement and concentration throughout the session.

Later in the day, cadets visited The Ujjayanta Palace, one of Tripura’s most iconic landmarks. The visit offered an educational and cultural experience, as cadets explored the palace’s architecture, museum exhibits, and its significance in Tripura’s royal history. The day concluded with cadets sharing their learnings and reflections from the visit, marking the end of a productive and inspiring day at the camp.
