Dharmanagar, Tripura, 25th of February, 2026 : Renowned Bengali folk artist Satyaki Bandyopadhyay is set to perform in Dharmanagar for the first time, promising to create a soulful evening steeped in the rich traditions of Bengali folk music. The event is being organized by Take One Production.At a press conference held on Wednesday at Prabin Angan in Dharmanagar, the organizers shared detailed information about the upcoming cultural program. The special folk music evening will take place on February 28, 2026, at Vivekananda Shardha shatbarsiki Bhavan. The primary objective of the event is to promote and preserve authentic Bengali folk music at a time when traditional melodies risk being overshadowed by remix culture. The organizers emphasized their commitment to rekindling public interest in pure folk traditions and introducing them to younger generations.
