Agartala, 15th of April, 2024 : With the initiative of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) a joining programme has been organized at Congress Bhavan, Post office Chowmuhani, Agartala on Monday (15th April, 2024). Former Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Pujan Biswas has come under the banner of National Congress party. Pujan Biswas was contest the Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate for Ramnagar-7 assembly constituency for the last Assembly election.
Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman accepted him into the congress party by handing over a congress flag. Being inspired the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A.) alliance and he has joined. Tripura Youth Congress President Nil Kamal Saha, youth congress leader Shreyasi Laskar and many others remained present in the joining programme.
