Agartala, Tripura, 14th of December, 2025 : Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the 2nd Annual Festival of Saptahik Sanskriti Haat (Weekly Cultural Fair) of Bangla Sanskriti Boloy in Sen Para, Nandannagar, Agartala, Tripura on Sunday (14th December, 2025).

Addressing at the inaugural event of the Bangla Sanskriti Boloy, Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu said that the weekly Sanskriti Haat is expected to play an important role in preserving the traditional culture of Bengalis. He expressed hope that this Weekly Cultural Fair would set a unique example in fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogan of “Vocal for Local.” He added that if local people are able to Haat their locally produced goods through this haat, they will become more economically prosperous. He also thanked the authorities of the Bangla Sanskriti Boloy for taking such an initiative.
President of Bangla Sanskriti Boloy Sebak Bhattacharjee delivered a welcome address at the inaugural session of the event. At the end of the event, the Governor visits the Saptahik Sanskriti Haat and interacted with the artists. Artists presented attractive cultural programmes like dance, song, music to beautify the ceremony.

Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were, Hon’ble Chief Whip of Tripura Legislative Assembly and MLA Kalyani Roy, Hon’ble Higher Education Minister Kishor Barman, MLA Ratan Chakraborty, Secretary of Information & Cultural Affairs Dr. Pradip Kumar Chakraborty and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the inauguration ceremony.
