Mumbai, Maharashtra, 17th of February, 2026 : The new book Heartstrong by renowned interventional cardiologist Dr. Kaushal Chhatrapati was unveiled in Mumbai. At a time when cardiovascular diseases are rising rapidly, the book serves as a practical and easy-to-understand guide for the general public to better manage their heart health.

Dr. Chhatrapati says, “Looking fit and being healthy are two different things. Six-pack abs do not guarantee a healthy heart. ‘Heartstrong’ is like an owner’s manual for the heart — something we were never given.”
Drawing from 21 years of clinical experience, the book addresses common yet often misunderstood topics such as heart attacks, cholesterol, blood pressure, smoking, sleep, stress, and CPR — all explained in simple language. Its core aim is to clear myths and empower readers to make timely, informed decisions.
Recalling a 39-year-old heart attack patient, Dr. Chhatrapati shares, “People assume that if someone looks healthy, they are safe. But poor lifestyle choices and hidden risks can be fatal.”
According to the World Health Organization, millions die every year due to cardiovascular diseases. In this context, Heartstrong emerges as a timely and much-needed awareness initiative.
