Hon’ble MP and National General Secretary of All India Trinamool Congress Abhishek Banerjee reached Agartala’s in Tripura following reports of alleged assault on Trinamool Congress workers. West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu and Dola Sen, also reached in Agartala. Upon reaching National General Secretary of All India Trinamool Congress Abhishek Banerjee left for Khowai where Trinamool Congress workers including three youth leaders (Devangshu Bhattacharya, Sudip Raha, Jaya Dutta) of West Bengal have been arrested by police for violating Section 144 of the Disaster Management Act and kept under police custody for allegedly violating Covid night curfew. But only hours after their arrest, they were granted bail by a local court later on Sunday.
