The conference reflected the Institute’s strategic commitment to developing world-class, India-centric case studies with global relevance and impact.
The conference began on 6 February 2026 with a Pre-Conference Case Writing & Teaching Workshop, which laid a strong academic foundation for the main event. The workshop brought together faculty members, research scholars, and students from leading national and international institutions and focused on advancing case writing and teaching practices.
Eminent resource persons from AIM, Manila; IIM Ahmedabad; ISB Hyderabad; and Ivey Publishing guided participants through structured sessions on case development, classroom integration, and pedagogy innovation. The workshop recorded participation of approximately 107 participants in online and offline modes, including 50 participants from 10 partner institutions and 57 participants from other institutions, indicating strong engagement from across the academic ecosystem.

The conference was organised through IIM Nagpur’s dedicated Case Study Centre, which operates in collaboration with Ivey Publishing, one of the world’s leading case development and publishing institutions. IIM Nagpur is among a select group of IIMs in the country with such a centre, making it only the third IIM in India and the first among the new-generation IIMs to establish a dedicated Case Study Centre. Through this Centre, the Institute is systematically building an ecosystem that supports high-quality case research rooted in Indian business, policy, and leadership contexts, while meeting global academic standards. The success of CRC 2026 marks a significant progression, recording manifold growth in participation, submissions, and international engagement. The conference clearly demonstrated IIM Nagpur’s emergence as a preferred destination for case researchers, educators, and institutions, and its evolving role as a key knowledge partner in management education, research, and policy discourse. With this successful second edition, IIM Nagpur has firmly positioned itself at the forefront of India’s case research movement, enabling Indian business stories to reach classrooms and boardrooms across the world.
