Inauguration Of ‘Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0’ At Damchhara By Dasda And Damchhara RD Blocks.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 2nd of February, 2026 : The Dasda and Damchhara RD Blocks of North Tripura district formally inaugurated ‘Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0’ on Monday at the Damchhara RD Block premises. The programme aims to further accelerate rural development and ensure holistic social progress in the region.The programme was inaugurated by Panisagar MLA Binay Bhushan Das, while Aparna Nath, Sabhadhipati of the North Tripura Zilla Parishad, attended as the chief guest. District Magistrate and Collector of North Tripura, Chandni Chandran, along with the BDOs of Dasda and Damchhara RD Blocks and several other administrative officials, were also present on the occasion.

The event started with a colourful ‘Sampurnata Rally’ featuring school students, which drew the attention of all present. Through the rally, messages highlighting education, health, nutrition, women’s empowerment and social awareness were effectively conveyed. Subsequently, various line departments set up information-based stalls, showcasing details of different government schemes and services for the benefit of the general public. Cultural performances added vibrancy to the programme and generated enthusiasm among participants.The event also included a pledge-taking ceremony, a signature campaign, and thoughtful, motivational discussions on several important social issues. Addressing the gathering, speakers stated that ‘Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0’ is not merely a programme, but a strong commitment to guide rural society towards all-round development.The guests and administrative officials expressed optimism that the initiative would provide a new direction for the overall development of Dasda and Damchhara RD Blocks and significantly contribute to inclusive and sustainable growth.
