Ampi, Tripura, 10th of April 2026 : With the initiative of Indian National Congress organization of Ampi nagar block an inspiring electoral programme has been conducted here in Ampi nagar market premises on Thursday (9th April, 2026). On this occasion indigenous and non indigenous people of the block have assembled here in the programme venue and took participation in the electoral programme. To motivate local voters of 23 Ampi ADC constituency the Congress leaders have organized a voters motivational vehicle rally which travelled through different VCs of the block.

Under the leadership of Ampi 23 Ampi constituency Congress candidate Falingdra Jamatia the rally has circulated the idealism of Congress in Mandai, Kasku, Tingharia, Tuidu and other villages and appealed people to vote Congress candidate in 23 Ampi ADC constituency. Addressing the gathering Tripura state Congress president Asish Kr. Saha has said, “The Congress organization is the oldest national party that had given many democratic constitutional rights to the indigenous communities living in Tripura. Today, indigenous communities are deprived and despair. To generate progressive and peaceful administration in TTAADC Congress party is highly required which is fully neutral and does trust in any kind of discrimination amidst people over caste and religion. Only Congress can bring a transparent and favourable administration in TTAADC for indigenous and non indigenous communities.” To obtain better future in ADC areas he has appealed the local villagers to be cooperative with Congress organization. Through this programme 96 voters from 39 families have joined Congress party today in Ampi.

Amidst the other distinguished leaders there were Kristopher Tilak, MP, Titan Paul, district Congress president, Sabda Kumar Jamatia, president of Aadivasi Congress, Pintu Debbarma, block president and many others remained present in the programme.
