Agartala, Tripura, 28th of February, 2026 : MY Bharat, West Tripura successfully conducted the Inter State Youth Exchange Programme (ISYEP) from 24th to 28th February 2026 at Tripura State Cooperative Union (TSCU), Agartala, hosting a youth contingent from the State of Sikkim. The programme was organized with the objective of promoting national integration, cultural exchange, leadership development, and mutual understanding among youth from different states of the country.

During the five-day programme, the participants engaged in interactive sessions on youth leadership, personality development, national integration, and nation-building initiatives. Cultural exchange activities, group discussions, sports, and recreational events were also organized to foster unity in diversity. As part of the educational exposure, the youth contingent visited important heritage and cultural sites of Tripura, including the Tripura Sundari Temple at Udaipur, Neermahal in Sepahijala, Ujjayanta Palace, and the India-Bangladesh Akhaura Border Checkpost, enriching their understanding of the State’s history, culture, and strategic importance.
The closing ceremony and certificate distribution programme was organized on 28th February 2026 at TSCU, Agartala, in the presence of Dr. Shyamal Bhattacharjee, Joint Director, Employment & Planning, Government of Tripura, as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Mr. B.P. Shah, State Director, MY Bharat, Tripura, and Mr. Nandan Roy, APS, MY Bharat, Tripura.

During the ceremony, participation certificates and mementos were distributed to the youth contingent from Sikkim in recognition of their active involvement and successful completion of the programme.
Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of youth participation in nation-building and encouraged the participants to act as ambassadors of unity, peace, and development in their respective states. The speakers also emphasized the role of MY Bharat in providing a platform for youth engagement, volunteerism, and leadership development.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by one of the participants, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, organizers, and all stakeholders for making the programme a success.
