With the initiative of Joint Action Committee of Civil Society the 114th Birth Anniversary of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur has been conducted here in Stable Ground in Agartala on Friday (19th August, 2022) . On this auspicious occasion a large number of people of the state have assembled here in the stable ground venue to wish & tribute him with great respect. The JACCS convener Jiban Debbarma has addressed the programme participants and said, “We are recollecting our beloved Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur great respect and dignity on his 114th birth anniversary for his appreciable contribution for Tripura state. His incomparable good deeds that he had done for the people of Tripura is most precious for us. He had done many social development works for the society and left many good achievements for the people of Tripura than any other king of the monarchy period of our state. In his short life time he had implemented appreciable achievements for the social progress of Tripura. The people of Tripura is most grateful to this great personality for ever. The good image of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur will never fade in the mind of people of this Tripura state”
On this occasion a mega mass rally has been conducted here in Agartala and marched on different roads in the city praising the king. Amidst the distinguished participants there were Shakti Jamatia, advisor, UTF, Adv Mangal Debbarma, Tripura Indigenous Lawyers Association, Satyabrata Jamatia, Jamatia Hoda, Manmohan Reang, Secretary, Bru Socio Cultural Organization and many others were remained present in this auspicious programme.
