Jawahar Saha Accompanied Farmers In Cutting Paddy.

Amarpur, Tripura, 26th of November 2025 : With the initiative of Ampi Kishan Morcha president Ashim Kalai an motivational paddy cutting programme has been conducted here in South Ampi ADC village under Ampi nagar block in Gomati Tripura today. To inspire farmers over their great profession Jawahar Saha, former minister & chairman of horticulture corporation limited as well as state BJP committee member has participated the event and accompanied the local poor farmers in paddy cutting event. He has cut paddy and conveyed paddy bundle. He has motivated the local farmers over their great occupation of farming and indicated the cultivators that to be self help & self reliant we all have to toil proportional. Through his paddy cutting work he has influenced the poor farmers that the BJP administration is always with the poor peasants. Aiming the dream of PM Modi & Dr. Manik Saha to make Tripura self reliant into fact this programme has been conducted to create sensation amongst farmers regarding the closed affiliation of the administration with poor cultivators.

As per the report, “Atmanirbhar Bharat” means “Self-reliant India,” a government initiative launched in 2020 to make India a self-sufficient country. It is not about isolation, but about strengthening domestic industry, skills, and capabilities to be more resilient and less vulnerable to global shocks, while still being integrated into global supply chains. The mission includes an economic stimulus package and focuses on key areas like manufacturing, agriculture, defence, and technology to promote local production and reduce import dependence. Amidst the other programme participants there were Satya Mohan Jamatia, Ampi Mandal president, Shibnath Jamatia, former mandal president, Prasanta Saha, former mandal GS and many others remained present in the programme.
